Chuan Chili House - (Near Coquitlam, BC)

5 /5 Jaydee: Some of, if not the, best Chinese food I’ve had outside of China! I had the Minced Pork Glass Noodles, medium spice. It definitely had a kick, and was so absolutely delicious I will be dreaming about it for a long time. My friend had the chili wontons and enjoyed them. We were given free (I think lychee) jelly for dessert! Highly recommend this restaurant. The interior design is wonderful, and our server was great!

5 /5 Johnson Chan: What this place lacks in dining space is made up by its dedicated and welcoming staff and the great food. Recommended the garlic dumplings and it did not disappoint. Was at first nervous about the spice levels but was relieved when the lady said any dish can be adjusted to be milder if preferred. Will definitely add this to my go-to list when visiting Coquitlam.

5 /5 Vivian Lau: Stunning flavors and hot soup on a chilly evening. The chili oil wontons were 10/10, the mala spicy soup the wontons were in was straight up drinkable. The wonton wrappers had the perfect bite and chew, the pork and water chestnut filling was traditional and magnificent. The chongquin soupy noodles were excellent as well. We got the rib and the beef versions with hand pulled noodles and the rice noodles. I love that you can customize what kind of noodle to put in the dishes. The spice level was excellent and not even overwhelmingly spicy - the wontons were much spicier than the chongquin noodles. The service was amazing. For such a small seating area, the wonderful hostess was accommodating, helpful, and efficient to seat as many people as needed and make sure we were satisfied. We came at the perfect time between groups of people and were seated immediately. One aspect I love about their menu is they give you a photo album with photos of every dish - wonderful for visual food decision makers.

5 /5 San: I really like their noodle and service. Its a small shop. Theres a only lady who is friendly and very hospitable to offer an excellent service to dine in for every customer. The authentic Szechuan style taste of tender and delicious noodle gave me great satisfaction. Its an acceptable waiting time for customers and they provide you a complimentary chinese dessert. Highly recommend for foodies.

5 /5 Elephant Bea: If this restaurant opens in my neighbourhood, I will go every week. It has a unique aroma, fast and kind service, and great portions. Even the washroom is shared with other properties, but it is clean and convenient.
