Neptune Seafood Restaurant - (Near Coquitlam, BC)

wendy The food was so delicious and a classic Korean-Chinese fusion of flavours. We ordered two orders of the lemon cream prawns because it was just that good! The batter is light and sauce is zesty and refreshing without feeling too greasy. The kungpao chicken was also huge and had a mild kick - perfect for those with a light spice tolerance. The sweet and sour pork was one of the highlights as it has a super chewy coating unlike the extra fried stale/hard dishes from other places. They use the chewy rice flour in the batter to get a chewy consistency and the sauce isn’t too sweet or artificial! Super addictive :) we also got the veggie japchae with flower buns. This was great as the veggies were super well seasoned and cooked perfectly with hints of seafood and beef slices. The flavour was Smokey and paired really well with the buns. The jjampong was the star of the show as the soup was perfectly seasoned and had a deep seafood flavour. Both noodle dishes had chewy and bouncy noodles that didn’t get soggy! There were lots of toppings and it was super satisfying. Pro tip: if you have extra black bean sauce left over from the noodles, order a bowl of plain rice and mix it into the sauce for a satisfying end to the meal (or get the fried rice with more sauce like we did :P) Will be coming back during lunch to get a quick noodle run during the weekday!

Lillian Chen This is a very authentic Korean restaurant, and I highly recommend it! Their seafood pancake and kimchi soup are especially amazing. The seafood pancake was cooked perfectly—nice and even, with no raw batter, and the ingredients were very fresh. It was delicious without feeling greasy or heavy. The kimchi soup was wonderfully spicy and super satisfying. I usually don’t eat much rice, but with this soup, I could easily finish two or three bowls! The spice level was just right, and the kimchi had great flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommended!

Trevor Dsouza Great food, Great Sevice and vibe. The food is authentic, flavourful and excellent quality. The kebab are so good, the rice is excellent and the platter could be enough for 2 if eaten with appetizers. Celebrated my wifes birthday and the even gave a complementary Baklava and Iranian Tea. I would definitely recommend to dine here for a wonderful meal experience.

James Corbett We decided to try somewhere new and picked this place. The food was good over all. We tried many items the only real standout item was the shrimp spring rolls. The flavor and texture was perfect and I would come back just for it. The rice wrap was my 2nd favorite item I had. The rest of the food was good but not wow good. The staff were good over all we had a few items we ordered missed and some stuff added that we did not order. The extra items they noticed before we did and confirmed was a mistake and corrected it. This was impressive missing 2 items we ordered was not so much (we were not charged). They were super busy so I can understand missing a few things. I would go back and try again.

Yvonne We were a table of 11. Everyone enjoyed thier meals. The menu gave us so much to choose from and the food came out in a decent amount of time. We had a great server that made sure our visit went really well. We will be sure to meet there again soon.

Wenice W Took advantage of the “Spend $50, get half order of fried chicken” dine-in promotion. We went early in the evening so were seated right away. Dishes were served within a reasonable time and tasted great! Will come again when nearby.
