Baker Street Station - Guelph
Paolo Burzese We stopped into Baker Street Station while visiting Guelph for the night, and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. From the outside, the place looks quiet — almost unassuming — but once we walked in, we discovered two lively floors filled with families, couples, friends catching up, and people out on dates. A really great energy.
The staff were absolutely lovely from the moment we arrived. The young man at the door noticed we had a newborn in a car seat and literally bolted upstairs to scout out the best place for us to sit. He wanted to make sure we’d be comfortable before bringing us up — such a thoughtful touch.
Our server was just as wonderful. Despite the pub being busy, it never felt oppressively loud or chaotic. The atmosphere struck that perfect balance: lively, warm, and easy to enjoy.
The food was exactly what you want from a pub — well done, comforting, and satisfying. Overall, this is a great little pub that’s clearly well run, with staff who genuinely care about guests having a good experience.
Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in Guelph.
