Restaurant Le Renversant - Québec

Shannon Butler We are staying nearby and we were looking for a place our family would enjoy. We were welcomed by Thomas, who had fantastic food and drink recommendations. We arrived at about 5:30pm so some items were not available; however still lots of dishes to choose from. Kids loved their food, the vegetarian in our party really enjoyed the Shakshouka. I had the Poutine Classique and for me, hands down the best Poutine Ive ever had. A welcome comfort food on a cold evening. Dessert was a blackberry chocolate cake, also incredible. Our entire experience was such a warm and generous "Bievenue". 10/10!

lueur - Québec

Rating: 4.9 /5
Justin Cunanan I just ate at Lueur for New Year’s Day dinner and felt compelled to leave a detailed review because I was genuinely blown away. From the moment we sat down, the service was excellent: warm, polished, and perfectly timed. It immediately set the tone for an evening that felt thoughtful and seamless. The appetizers were a standout. Each opening dish was bold yet beautifully balanced. The beef tartare was rich and deeply savory without being overwhelming, while the hamachi crudo was bright, fresh, and layered with flavor. Even the Caesar salad impressed—it was elevated far beyond expectations, packed with umami, crisp bacon, and perfectly judged seasoning. The mains were just as superb. The scallops were cooked flawlessly and paired with luxurious elements that enhanced the dish without stealing focus. The braised beef cheek was incredibly tender, rich, and comforting—executed at a very high level. We also added the extras, and they were absolutely worth it. The sourdough with foie gras butter and fresh truffle was indulgent and addictive, and the seared foie gras was silky, rich, and perfectly balanced. Dessert was lovely, but what truly defined the meal were the strength and execution of the appetizers and mains. Incredible food, superb service, and a refined yet welcoming atmosphere—easily one of the standout dining experiences in Québec City.

Abong 98 We have to try poutine! We came to this store just to have it, and it was absolutely delicious! We went for the biggest size, because there’s only $5 difference between the smallest and the biggest. We shared it between two of us, and guess what? We couldn’t even finish it! We brought it home and had it for dinner last night, and it was still so good.

Nacho Pub - Québec

Emilie Tan We were happy to find Nacho Pub in the middle of our shopping trip. Great food and service. Loved the quiet ambiance inside. There are also seats outside for those who want to enjoy their meals outdoors.

Bistro LOrygine - Québec

Rating: 4.7 /5
Ramon Lorenzo We had an exceptional meal at LOrygine. Every dish was incredible by every measure. Textures were a hit, sauce flavours were mouth-watering, and the dishes were very innovative (popcorn w/ corn sauce, cucumber spheres). The pork belly was the best Ive ever tasted - tender, juicy, fat exploding with flavour. The cocktails and wine we had were equally tasty. Some minor service lapses - dish explanations with little enthusiasm and a forgotten wine pairing with a dish. Despite this, the quality of the dishes easily stood out and we cant wait to return.

Connor Morgan-Lang I had a great dinner with family. I found their tasting menu to be a deal for the quantity and quality, and it allowed us to enjoy most of their dishes. Their staff were very friendly and happy to accommodate dietary restrictions. Everyone had a lovely experience!
