Agustina LV Delicious food and great ambience. We got two appetizers and mains plus a dessert, so price was high but expected and definitely worth it. Definitely recommend the poutine with duck confit and the maple pudding!

Sergio ArgĂĽelles Catare The food here was absolutely delicious and it has a good cozy vibe. The standout was the arancino, it is a must have. The pasta was also delicious, I especially loved the tortellini alla ricotta. The ciambelle al caramello was the perfect sweet for dessert. I highly recommend this place.

Olive et Gourmando - Montréal

Ashish Nagra A lunch well spent at Olive et Gourmando in downtown Montreal on Wednesday; July 1, 2025; which happened to be CANADA DAY. It was a planned school friend’s reunion, and it turned out absolutely perfect. It’s easily one of the best brunch/lunch spots in the city. Even when it’s busy, the line moves quickly, and the atmosphere is bright, cozy, and full of energy with a lively open-kitchen vibe. The staff are warm, attentive, and efficient, which made our gathering even more enjoyable. The food was outstanding across the board. The sweet ricotta was a standout, and everything else—from the fresh, well-balanced plates to the ultra-flaky pastries—was packed with flavor. The coffee is top-notch and pairs perfectly with their baked goods. Prices are on the higher side, but fair for the quality and central location. Overall, truly worth the visit and a place I’d happily return to again.

Jayeeta Basu Jardin Nelson is one of Old Montréal’s true gems. An open garden courtyard-styled dining area full of plants, warm lighting, and live music creates a vibrant atmosphere. One’s excited while waiting in the queue (we made the mistake of dropping in without a reservation) about the food to be sampled. And the food, when it came, was absolutely delicious! Overall, Jardin Nelson is an ideal spot whether you’re visiting with friends, family, or looking for a romantic evening out. The menu offers a great variety of options, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. Their crêpes are especially delicious, and the cocktails pair perfectly with the lively yet laid-back vibe of the space. Service was quick despite how busy the restaurant was. Reservation is definitely recommended. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Montréal. Come for the food, stay for the atmosphere!

Julia Tran Found this place completely on a whim while looking for something a bit healthier, and I’m so glad we ended up here. They’re vegetarian-friendly, which was a huge plus. I ordered the fattet batinjan with Impossible meat and it was genuinely incredible, one of those meals you keep thinking about after. We sat at the bar since we didn’t get a table, and honestly the service there was amazing. Kerry was so nice and fun to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. The overall vibe of the place was great—warm, lively, and just a good energy. Everyone in our group loved what they ordered. Highly recommend saving room for the Syrian ice cream. Absolutely worth it. Would 100% go back.
