1 /5 Dilpreet Singh Jattana: My experience with Jasleen, Lead CSM at Walmart, was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. She did not greet me, showed a very poor attitude, and spoke in a dismissive and disrespectful manner. Instead of assisting, she acted as if basic customer requests were an inconvenience. I politely asked her to scan the QR code on my Walmart app so I could receive an e-receipt. She told me this was “not acceptable,” without any proper explanation. Her tone made it seem like she believed she could make up her own rules. To clarify, I went to another till and asked a cashier to scan the same QR code. The cashier did it immediately without any issue, and I received my e-receipt right away. This clearly shows that my request was valid and that the refusal was unnecessary. Leadership positions require professionalism, consistency, and respect toward customers. Unfortunately, this interaction reflected the opposite. Very disappointing experience.

1 /5 Barbara: Its hard to believe how very bad this store has become since opening. The competency of employees, which 98percent seem to be temporary foreign workers, leaves much to be desired. Tonight was the worst. I picked up an item at the entrance to the store with a clearly marked price. Later I saw the same item with a different, higher price. When I checked out they had ALL the self-serve lines closed, so big lineups for the regular cashier. Said item rang up at double the price. Cashier called someone who later told me she was the manager, to check the price. and I told her where it was. The bin was very close by, I could almost see if from where I was. The "manager" was gone for ages.....what??? Turned out she changed the price on the bin I had picked up the item from! Unbelievable. I also saw other items that had differing prices when placed in different spots, like at the front of the store and then in the regular aisles. Do we need to take photos of all prices as we add them to our cart Walmart?

We purchased a large number of gift cards, and she was incredibly patient and professional throughout the entire process. She took the time to assist us carefully and made sure everything was handled smoothly. Her friendly attitude and excellent customer service truly made a difference. We really appreciate her help!

2 /5 Monica Wang: You can promote your credit card at the entrance or exit of the self-checkout area, rather than while customers are in the middle of paying. Today when I was checking out, I did not want to be disturbed. However, two different staff members approached me about signing up for a Walmart credit card within five minutes of each other. I understand that the employees are simply following instructions from management and are required to promote the credit card. However, this approach has already caused inconvenience and feels like harassment to customers. One year ago, multiple customers had already complained on Google Maps about staff promoting credit cards to customers during checkout at the self-checkout area, which many people felt was intrusive and disruptive. However, nothing appears to have changed. This situation is still continuing today. In fact, every single time I pay at the self-checkout area, I am approached and asked to apply for a credit card. It happens every time. To be honest, I do not have much confidence that this practice will change. But if this ongoing solicitation of customers does not stop, the next time I visit Walmart I may have no choice but to wear or attach a sign to my clothing or backpack clearly stating that I do not need a credit card. As a customer, I believe I have the right to complete my purchase without being pressured or solicited.
