James Thompson This park is a solid spot for a walk or to take the kids out. Theres a good path for walking, a carousel that the kids seem to love, and a playground thats got everything they need. The gardens pretty neat too, with lots of well-kept flowers. Theres this bench in the garden where you can sit and just look out at the river. If youre up for a bit more walking, theres a butterfly garden about 10 minutes from the entrance, just across a bridge. Its a chill place to relax and enjoy the outdoors, and there are plenty of benches if you want to take a break. Theyve also got a frisbee area thats usually pretty busy. Definitely a great place for a family day, and you can even bring a barbecue if you want.

Minerva Sanchez Such a great location right in town. Love the boardwalk and the various landscapes in the trail. Great for hiking, running, and mountain biking. Renovations are near completion where the old splash pad was. Accessible parking has been added as well.

Michele Dunsford Such a nostalgic, heart-warming museum experience. The reception staff member helped me immensely as I was on a historic mission for my brother in the U.K. I have known about John McCrae and his famous poem since childhood. During my tour, I lived the poem! The monument and garden in the grounds provide a wonderful opportunity to reflect and contemplate a life that was given in service of our country.

Mister E Recall this statue originally being situated in St. Georges square in my childhood, 1960s. And no, it was not originally painted. It had a green patina as if it were copper clad. Brings back memories. Lots of cases of people putting detergent in the water just to see it overflow with foam. Dumb!

Mat Bienczyk Fun experience at the winter Sparkles in the Park - free entry with no reservation required, however donations encouraged. Theres plenty of lights to see in the park, which you can see both by drive through or walking. Plenty of parking along the main road. Only open on select days, so check the website before going.

Kaitlin Farmer My kids LOVED the sand pit, and on a hot day they have the wading pool there too cool down. Highly recommend! And the playground they had a lot of fun on it !!

Chris G This is my Parish Church. Absolutely stunning church with beautiful stained glass and architecture. Truly a pleasure to behold with the eyes. However the real treasure here is the clergy. Father Duffy and Deacon Quinto especially are wonderful and true spiritual leaders. They have helped me find my way back to Christ.

Jennifer Hannah Wonderful place to walk the dogs. Lots of hidden trails and three bridges to discover not to mention all the fantastic stone walls and staircases built by prisoners long ago. Gorgeous views and the old prison has some great photo opportunities. This place is a real piece of Guelph history.
