Rosy Kumar Loved this trail! Its about a 2.5km walk one way that takes you from Sawmill Creek road to Mississauga road with some very beautiful views and boardwalks and gorgeous woods along the way. Theres a path that goes to UTM campus as well! Definitely a hidden gem in Mississauga.

Jamie ODonnell Restored and reconstructed buildings from early settlers in the Port Credit area. The grounds and gardens of the park are quite lovely. A trail leads south through the park towards the lake. The trail is suitable for any age walking traffic, but not fully accessible. A rugged stroller could travel readily, but a wheelchair or motorized scooter driver would struggle. Some effort has been made to acknowledge the presence of First Nations peoples throughout this area long before colonial settlers arrived. On the path leading to the log cabin are stencilled paintings of moccasins in various styles. Interpretive signage along the path describes the designs and the First Nations they are associated with. There is a ceremonial sweat-lodge and a gathering area. The park and museum are worth a deliberate visit, not just by happenstance after an accidental wrong turn I made to find it! Anju Gowda This place is my go to on a cannot-go-anywhere day. This is place is fantabulous. It’s located near a lake, displays history of the park, the kids park is very unique and thoughtful. It’s very good for running or walking and has plenty of parking. I would go to this place almost every two weeks. I just love how it is maintained and gives calmness when sitting on the waterfront benches. Place is non crowded, in a hot spot if you want to grab something to drink or eat! Give a try!

Jaspal Singh January 2023 Very different feeling to visit in Winter as the lake is frozen and it is very brown. Still it is good walk around the lake if there is no snow. Summer 2022 Visited this place with my kids as we were looking something close by. There is beautiful trail around the lake. You can walk or cycle on the trek. There is plenty of activities for kids in the park including splash pad, swings and play area. For adult, there is open Gym scattered all over the garden. Lake is beautiful but there is small place to sit with kids. However there is no safety rails so be careful if you visit with kids. The place will be little busy on weekend but still there is plenty of space. Other unusual thing I notice was that squirrel can come very close to you and may ask for food. They are not dangerous. The place is very accessible for old people and people with special needs. However the trek has some slope so it can be tiring for kids and old people. Tips: You can park your vehicle in Meadowvale Community Centre parking. GPS navigation will take you to paid visitor parking site.

Amartya Ghosal The park is peaceful and quiet, making it a great place to hang out and enjoy various activities like walking, jogging, running, dog walking, having a picnic, or simply soaking up the sun and listening to music. We took a walk on a bright, sunny Sunday midmorning and loved the beautiful lake view, the cool breeze, and the tranquil atmosphere.

travelhholic dr Very impressive historical building/house in the centre of city. We visited in the midst of COVID so closed. Green and quiet place. History of the building is written in detail on a board posted in the front lawn. Now this building is used as office. Will come again to visit inside after COVID

Nathalie Mark-Yam Came here in December for a walk. this is a really nice clean park with plenty of amenities. see the map. plenty of free parking with 3 lots. the washrooms are next to the main parking lot. it is spacious and heated in the winter and they are clean. the playground is large with activities for all age groups. lots of benches to sit around. there is an off leash dog area on the east side of the park. the park is next to cobble beach with its unique red clay cobbles. fun to skip rocks. the waterfront trail connects with this park if youre cycling. there is a bike repair station along the path.

Anja Moore-Heighington Beautiful park! Took the stroller and did the most of the Waterfront Trail, the Knoll Trail and Silver Maple Trail. I would say the Knoll Trail was best for the stroller as it was almost all boardwalk. The Silver Maple Trail had parts where it was less flat / maintained, with tree roots and such, making it a bit harder without a proper jogging stroller. There was a couple of small steps where the Waterfront Trail connected to the Silver Maple Trail, as well. No entrance fees or tickets needed. Overall the park is gorgeous, the trails are well maintained and it is a great spot for hiking!

Aditya Tendolkar Really pristine and lush conservation area. Multiple picnic areas, a beautiful and serene river that runs along, lot of vegetation makes this a perfect space for any kind of outing. The picnic areas are especially large so even with bigger crowds, you will not get the feeling of being congested. You can set up your barbeques here as well, we saw a few of them. Be it with friend or family, both kind of groups can enjoy here. The trail is also interesting here, did not completely cover it but was surrounded well with the forest area.
